The Baptist World Alliance provides disaster relief around the world. Baptist World Aid responds to emergency situations where unusual circumstances disrupt or destroy community life – famine, earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, tornadoes, fire, floods, volcanic eruptions, civil strife or war. Since Baptist World Alliance members now have a presence in more than 100 different countries, we have personnel in many areas where disasters occur. It is the local Baptist communities who are on the scene and ministering to their neighbors in times of crisis. They know the situations and the needs. When BWAid receives a request to assist from a member body, it is the Emergency Response Fund that allows us to make an initial response to the crisis. Donations to the Emergency Response Fund may be made online or by mailing a check to:

We continually pray that all of our disaster appeals and approved projects will be fully funded, and celebrate when God answers our prayers. If the project to which your gift is designated has been funded, we will direct your gift to meet a similar need.
